Château-Doisy-Daëne Barsac 2010 375ml
Wine SpectatorA juicy, compact style, with tangerine, apricot, toasted almond and heather notes all rolled together at the core, waiting to unfurl fully through the unctuous, passion fruit-filled finish. Plenty remains in reserve, but this is hard to resist now. Drink now through 2030.
Wine AdvocateDenis Dubourdieu's Barsac cru has an attractive bouquet with subtle notes of cooking apple, pear and lime-flower, all with very fine delineation. The palate displays good weight and a fine thread of acidity, lending tension and poise that leads to a taut finish, showing good botrytis levels for the vintage. With its trademark minerality in place, this Doisy-Daene comes highly recommended.
Wine Enthusiast88-90 Delicious fruit, with pear and apricot laced with acidity and spice. The wine feels relatively light, very fresh, already delicious.
