The palate is full-bodied and rich with flavors of dark berries, vanilla laced with leather, mocha and spice. A round mouthfeel backed with a concentrated tannin structure leads to a complex, long finish. The robust flavors of this wine are a great complement to roasted duck breast, beef tenderloin or short ribs.
This red begins with aromas of a black-cherry sundae, complete with caramel, whipped cream and nuts, as well as a bit of coffee. There's just enough bite to the tannins on the sip to uphold those lush qualities.
