Produced in the village of Parnac from vineyards that surround the Château, this is a full-bodied red with complex aromatics of black fruit, particularly black currant and plum, accented by hints of earth. The nish is long with strong tannins. Made for immediate enjoyment or within a few years of the vintage. Perfectly complements game, such as wild boar and pheasant, as well as duck. Also pairs nicely with complex, aged cheeses.
