Château-Lynch-Moussas Pauillac 2005
Wine EnthusiastA correct, straightforward wine. Maybe it doesn't excite, but it doesn't disappoint either. The fruit has delicious black currants, but the fine, delicate structure doesn't promise much aging.
Wine AdvocateThe 2005 Lynch-Moussas is a supple, fruit-driven wine from the Castéja family. It shows well, with ripe tannin, some blackcurrants, spice and earth. This medium-bodied wine should drink well for another 15 or more years.
Wine SpectatorA bit funky, with berry, cedar and cigar box character. Medium- to full-bodied, with a balance of tannins. Short. A little disappointing. Best after 2008. 18,330 cases made.
