Bright ruby-red. Black raspberry and dark cherry aromas are complicated by hints of flowers and menthol. Shows a bit more texture and floral lift than the H3 Merlot but still not particularly fleshy , nuanced or concentrated; harmonious acidity gives adequate energy to the middle palate. Blackberry and violet flavors show a subtle sweetness. Finishes with a fine dusting of essentially light tannins and decent length. (14.5% alcohol)
