Captivating perfume of white peach, pineapple, flowers, minerals and crushed rock. Densely packed and tight but already showing a creaminess to its well-delineated flavors of lemon curd, salt and chamomile. Edgy with a subtle, very dry, rising finish.

The 2018 Chardonnay Marena is a wonderful introduction to these wines. Bright lemon peel, white flowers, mint and white pepper all grace this airy, gracious Sonoma Coast Chardonnay. The Marena is the sort of wine that is opened and then disappears in an instant. I loved it. Vineyard sites are Zephyr, Heintz and young vines at Porter-Bass.
