Louis Jadot Beaune Boucherottes 2019
|Region||France, Burgundy, Cote de Beaune|
A full-bodied, aromatic Pinot Noir with a rich roundness of fruit and plump texture arrayed around a rigorous structure. This wine will develop favorably in the bottle for 12 to 15 years. This wine has the structure to pair well with most meats, even those with strong sauces, as well as cheeses.
The 2019 Beaune Boucherottes 1er Cru showed a little reduction on the nose, unlike other Beaune Premiers from Jadot. The palate displays good density and more black fruit than the Clos des Couchereaux, and nice grip, if just needing a little more complexity and mineralité to show through. Give this 18-24 months once in bottle. It's a bit "serious" at the moment.
