Fontanafredda Barbaresco Coste Rubin 2004
|Region||Italy, Piedmont, Barbaresco|
Wine SpectatorShows plenty of fresh plum and raspberry aromas that follow through to a full-bodied palate, with good fruit and a clean finish. Falls a little short, but it's nicely proportioned. Best after 2010.
Wine EnthusiastThis is a ripe and jammy wine rich in mature berry aromas and plum that is atypical for the 2004 vintage. It is a thick, rich and less delicate expression of Nebbiolo with more overt darkness and concentration and chewy, chunky tannins. Ready to drink now.
