Our Chateauneuf du Pape red wine ''tradition'' is mainly a blend of Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre and a light note of Cinsault. These wines are full bodied, rich textured and soft at the same time able to change according to the vintage from sweet black fruits, red fruits, exotic fruits, kirsch, ripe plum mixed with spice notes, leather and smoked: a rich style with mouth finals long and heady. Wines made for aging but can be drunk from their fourth year up to their fifteenth year and often longer for the best vintages.

Wine AdvocateDomaine de la Solitude turned in a top performance with its 2015 Chateauneuf du Pape. It shows hints of toasted almond or marzipan on the nose, ripe cherries and hints of stone fruit, and while it's richly tannic, the tannins are ripe and velvety. It should drink well for 15+ years. Drink Date: 2017-2032.

Wine SpectatorRipe and seductive, with a very silky feel, while waves of raspberry, kirsch and blood orange flavors move through, accented by light tea, red licorice and incense notes. Drink now through 2035. 6,000 cases made.
