Domaine Cheysson Chiroubles 2014
The wines from Chiroubles are generally delicious, supple and elegant, with a striking red color while the nose combines scents of peonies, lily of the valley and violets. Brimming with fruit and flowers, Chiroubles is one of the most individual wines of Beaujolais.
Albet I Noya Classic Tempranillo 2016On the nose, this wine expresses notes of dark fruits such as blackberries. Medium-bodied in style, it is well-structured on the palate with soft, rounded tannins. Flavors of sweet berries such as strawberry and cherry abound. Vinified in stainless steel, the Albet i Noya Tempranillo is a pure expression of one of Spain's most popular varietals. This wine will evolve nicely over 2-3 years.
Shea Wine Cellars Shea Vineyard Estate Pinot Noir 2013Our "best barrel blend", Homer displays all the best of the vintage: floral and savory aromas with concentrated blue and black fruit on the palate. The wine has concentration, complexity, structured tannins and a very long finish.
Field Stone Merlot 2014This deep, full-fruited, big red is packed with all the attributes necessary to be compared to our acclaimed Cabernets: deep violet color, seductive complex aromas, and rich flavors.
Domaine Paul Autard Côtes du Rhône 2013The 2013 Cotes du Rhone was aged in stainless steel tanks until bottling in May, 2014. The 2013 Autard Cotes du Rhone is deeply colored and very aromatic, with concentrated, fresh and pure ripe, black fruit, nuanced by violet and spice notes, and a rich texture. "The fruit was magnificently ripe," observed Jean-Paul on October 9th, "and despite the small quantity of Grenache, I have nothing to complain about compared to other regions."
Landmark Vineyards Overlook Pinot Noir 2013The 2013 Overlook® Pinot Noir has a medium ruby core with intense aromas of raspberries, red cherry, with hints of cola and mahogany. This medium-bodied Pinot Noir exhibits bright acidity with flavors of red currant, orange zest and milk chocolate that is balanced with soft integrated tannins. Drink now, but would benefit from 2-3 years in the cellar. Food Pairing: The 2013 Overlook Pinot Noir pairs well with slow roasted pork roast, duck a l'orange, eggplant parmesan, grilled summer vegetables and aged cow's milk cheeses.
