Cigar City Brewing Jai Alai IPA 6 pack 12oz CanAn intense bouquet of tangerine and candied orange peel entice the nose while flavors of clementines, Valencia orange and subtle caramel provide counterpoint to an assertive bitterness and rich malt character. Bold hop flavor and aroma from six different hop varietals is front and center in this flavorful American IPA. Jai Alai, a game native to the Basque region of Spain, is played on a court called a fronton. Jai Alai players attempt to catch a ball using a curved mitt whilst the ball travels at speeds up to 188mph! Proving they have a sense of humor the Spanish dubbed this game, with its ball traveling at racecar speeds, "the merry game." Tampa was once home to a bustling Jai Alai fronton but sadly all that remains of Jai Alai in the Tampa Bay area is this India Pale Ale that we brew in tribute to the merry game. The India Pale Ale style of beer has its roots in the ales sent from England to thirsty British troops in India during the 18th century. Pair Jai Alai India Pale Ale with beef empanadas, deviled crabs and other spicy dishes.

Caymus Special Selection Cabernet Sauvignon 2015Caymus Special Selection is the flagship wine of the Wagner family and is comprised of the very best barrels of the vintage. This wine is not produced in difficult years. Caymus Vineyards produces two Cabernets Sauvignons - a "Napa Valley" and the venerable "Special Selection". Both Cabernet bottlings have aromas and flavors which can only be achieved through "hang time" - a technique which chances the loss of crop if early winter sets in. Leaving the fruit to "hang" on the vine unusually long develops suppleness, increases color, and matures the tannins of the grapes. The wines are abundant in textural tannins yet soft as velvet. Crop thinning, allowing measured sunlight to reach the vine's fruit zone, and waiting for increased ripeness are all part of our viticultural practices. Caymus Cabernets offer a wide array of aromas and flavors including cocoa, cassis and vanilla.

Château-de-Ribebon Bordeaux Superieur 2015"Quality is not possible with quantity, and I want my wine to capture the essence of our fantastic terroir." -Amélie Aubert
Fattoria Petrolo Toscana Torrione 2015Torrione is made mainly from Sangiovese coming from a combination of historic vines of the 70s and ones more recently planted. The 2015 is a blend of Sangiovese (80%), Merlot (15%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (5%). The recent vineyards were planted under fortunately rigorous guidelines based on the number of vines per hectare and on strict zoning. The yield per plant is notably restricted (max 2.5 lbs per vine plant), allowing a concentration of all the noble components of the grape, fundamental for the full-bodied character of this wine.
Flora Springs Soliloquy Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc 2016This thoughtfully-made Sauvignon Blanc has serious intention, displaying captivating notes of passionfruit, Golden Delicious apple, rose petal and a hint of lychee. The lees contact and stirring endows the wine with a lovely, viscous texture, and the mouthfeel is smooth, creamy and generously textured. Notes of graham cracker and caramel linger on the palate, though the wine holds the line with enough citrus-y acid to keep it fresh and lively. A noble Sauvignon Blanc from an appellation that is ideal for this varietal.

Food Pairing: The versatile, delicate flavors of our Rosé of Pinot Noir pairs perfectly with rich goat cheeses, bright citrus flavors, grilled seafoods and spicy sauces.
Beckmen Vineyards Cuvee Le Bec 2015A magnificent Cuvee le Bec vintage crafted with 43% Grenache, 35% Syrah, 14% Mourvedre, and 8% Counoise, the blend leans heavily on Grenache compared to the Syrah-dominate 2013 and 2014 vintages. The flavors and aromas are brighter with more red-spectrum fruits, and complex layers of spices, earth, and pepper. A very elegant blend, this vintage shows a little higher acidity which keeps the wine bright and helps to lengthen the very long finish. Honestly, one of my favorite Cuvee le Bec's to date! Enjoy from 2017 - 2024.

It opens up on the palate with a silky and light texture to offer a foundation of stone fruits, melon and bright citrus, with zippy acidity.
