The 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon Escudo Rojo Origine comes from Buin, Maipo, and is a mixture of grapes from several vineyard parcels harvested at different times, which then spent 12 months in French oak barrels, one-third new. Red with a violet shimmer. The aromas are black currant and blackberry plus hints of balsam and pencil box notes. In the mouth, it's juicy with active, grippy tannins, well-judged freshness and a lingering finish.

A delicate nose shows enticing aromas of cherry, red plum and spices. Fruit and dark chocolate flavors are smoothly blended with subtle toasted oak notes. It's silky and rounded with a pleasant finish. Red-fruit flavors linger in the aftertaste.
