Shows steeped black cherry and blackberry fruit that has a nice winey feel, with black tea, anise and singed vanilla notes ingrained nicely on the finish. Nicely done. Merlot and Cabernet Franc. Drink now through 2028. 5,000 cases made, 1,000 cases imported.

This dark wine offers chocolate and black-plum flavors. The dense tannins and concentrated structure are impressive and promise further aging. A dry aftertaste at the end adds to the promise. Drink from 2025.

The 2019 Tournefeuille is a very pretty and elegant Lalande de Pomerol. Crushed flowers, spice, mint, cedar, new leather and tobacco all grace this mid-weight wine. The 2019 is understated and beautifully perfumed from start to finish. Drink it over the next decade or so.
